  • This is so creative! I loved reading it! “I wish you would have invited me to Saudi!” Ah! I know, we need our fall trip fix together! “Kelsey and Stacy….” I loved it all! Thanks for the post and the chat yesterday. Love you :)

  • Wow. Very inventive way to blog your life. I’m so stealing it!! Oh, and when am I going to get invited somewhere with you? Not Saudi Arabia. I’m happy with Europe or the states I haven’t yet visited. : )

  • Dear Angela,

Isn’t Dr. Pepper a Pepsi product? That could be the problem!

Saudi is brown and dirty, I know, I lived there for 4.5 years…but camel races are cool, they taste like a mixture of pork and cow (kinda greasy) and bedouin are the nicest people! Gold is also pretty cheap! Shwarma are better than gyro! Unfortunately Mecca is closed to tourists, though I know you and think that you’d probably don an abaya to get in! (Is that how you spell don?)

I hope for your sake (and mine!) that the stock market continues on its course, but I fear that this is the peace before the biggest storm!

I love cake stand blue! Will you post photos when you are finished?

    Praying for Hillary…the flu sucks!

As for Ann Taylor and Banana Republic…I have only been able to dream!

And don’t quit teaching aerobics. Your 80 year old will thank you!

  • Okay, so I just went to Heidi’s site! Dubai is completely different than Saudi! I’m sure she can still find camel meat somewhere though! Schwarmas are a must try and maybe some falafel! I don’t think that the mutaween (religious police) will bother her about her dress in Dubai. They are very worldly and are going after the Las Vegas crowd. They’ll be used to jeans! ;o)

  • Angela — your painter is in Pennsylvania with Ken! He’ll be back friday! Just thought I’d let you know cause when he’s done your bedroom he’s at my house painting the basement!!!!!!

  • Great blog post!
I’m trying not to cry about my birthday too.
I hope Hillary gets better soon. Everyone I know has the flu right now.
And I just love your method of telling your husband exactly what to buy! I should try that more often.
