This weekend we are hanging out on the coast of Maine…….and man oh man, it has been fantastic. We have walked around Bar Harbor……………..
Tested the waters out…….
Ate lots of Clam Chowda……
We checked out the scenery………….
And ate lots of Ice Cream……………
We drove to the top of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Forest and had a 360 degree view of the world………..
And did some hanging out………..
We skipped rocks in the Harbor………..
And walked along the seacoast………. (and don’t die of shock, but my husband finally learned how to take a picture with my Nikon, so I am in a shot!….Finally my posterity will know I was for real!)
We walked around the town of Bar Harbor and saw amazing views like this……………….
and continued to eat more Ice Cream……….

1. I grew up 25 miles inland in Maine, so the coast of Maine holds a special place in my heart. I was actually married in Camden on a cliff overlooking the ocean.
2. My youngest daughter is actually named Acadia.
3. My husband has not yet learned to use my Nikon, so I am convinced my daughters will think they grew up with a single father.

Awesome pictures! I wish I was there. My parents are actually headed to Boston to go on a fall foliage cruise up to Montreal over Conference weekend. So they’ll get to visit Bar Harbor and Halifax. I’m so jealous. But at least I get their conference tickets.
